Help Funky Place represent Israel on an international stage

The dance teams of Funky Place, a studio and dance school from Ashkelon, have earned the right to perform in an international competition in the United States. For the children, this is a chance to reach a world stage. For all of us, it is a chance to raise the Israeli flag with pride and show talent, spirit and Israeli light where our country deserves to be seen.

Why this campaign matters

This is more than a competition. It is the honor of representing Israel

These girls have trained, performed, competed and won trophies and medals. Now they have a rare opportunity to represent Israel abroad: not only their studio, but also Ashkelon, their families, their community and everyone who wants to see Israeli children stand strong, proud and visible on a global stage.

Funky Place is more than a competition team. It is a dance school and creative studio from Ashkelon, where children learn, rehearse, build artistic performances and grow in confidence. The journey to the United States is a continuation of the work they put in every day at the studio.

Taking part in an international championship involves major costs: flights, accommodation, registration, costumes, insurance, logistics and supervision. There is no municipal or government funding that covers all of it, so participation depends on private support from families, friends and people who care about this story. Especially now, it matters that Israeli children can tell the world: we are here, we create, we dance, we win and we represent our country with an open heart.

The people leading the team

Behind the children are people guiding them toward the big stage

Funky Place is led by Fani Bismuth-Zerbib. Her belief in the children, discipline and love of dance help the Ashkelon studio grow, win and represent Israel beyond its borders. Every day, this is the place where children come to learn, rehearse, perform and become more confident.

The choreography of the award-winning competition dances was created by Dor Abardjel. In the photo, Fani and Dor are holding Israeli flags: the same energy the team is taking with them as they travel to perform in Israel's name.

Why it matters

When the children step on stage, Israel steps on stage with them

Pride

Every performance carries the Israeli flag, the work of the children and the faith of the families behind them.

Representation

On the international stage, they will perform as an Israeli team and as a voice of their city.

Unity

Even a small donation tells the children that people stand behind them and that Israel matters.
